Another thriving branch of Chinook Scaffold Systems is our Edmonton Branch. Crucial for our expansion into Alberta, Chinook's Edmonton Branch offers a growing range of services and expertise from their location that was established eight years ago. Chinook Edmonton serves all of Southern Alberta, Central Alberta and also works with the Chinook Grande Prairie Branch to serve our Northern Alberta clients.
Our Edmonton Branch provides residential, commercial and industrial scaffold erection as well as a rental division. Chinook Edmonton has many returning customers including Clark Builders, Delnor Construction, Alta Steel, Rio Tinto Alcan, Laricina Energy and Praxair just to name a few. Along with Chinook as a whole, our Edmonton Branch has a wealth of experience in the industry and is committed to growing with our clients.
There are lots of exciting advancements happening within the company, Dave Smits, a member of our Edmonton Branch Management team, had this to say about the direction of his branch and the new services Chinook has to offer:
"Chinook has always been on the cutting edge of scaffold technology. ABC Fraco (Mast Climbers) is now a division of Chinook Scaffold that offers options for high rise buildings, bridges, equipment lifts and all kinds of masonry projects."
From interview with Edmonton Branch Manager:
"What is coming up in the future? New projects and technologies?
"Chinook Edmonton has been expanding steadily for the past seven years and we are gaining momentum. The addition of the Mast Climbers to our fleet of scaffold equipment will open many doors for us. There are many large projects coming up, we look forward to servicing a larger portion of western Canada and growing with the challenges our clients present to us."

Chinook's Edmonton Branch is pleased to announce a new satellite office now operating in Whitecourt, Alberta. In February of 2012 Chinook donated $2000 dollars worth of scaffold equipment and set up to the Strathcona County Firefighters Rooftop Camp-out for Muscular Dystrophy. They spend a chilly 72 hours (the Firefighters not the scaffolders, they made it so they could access the rooftop) on top of their No.1 station to raise funds to help those suffering from this disease. To read more about this event please follow this link http://strathconafirefighters.com . This event raised over $20K for those effected by muscular dystrophy, we are proud to have been a part of their success.
